NEW HERE?

And they devoted themselves to the apostle's teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and prayers.

Acts 2:42

A Message from our Pastor

The services at GACC are intentionally simple and casual. Acts 2:42 offers a clear description of what the early church was like. We try to follow this model as closely as we can.

If you plan on attending, you can expect the following:

  • A friendly reception.

  • Mostly casual attire.

  • A message based on eternal values that relates to daily living.

  • Heartfelt worship.

  • A Children's Ministry where kids learn at their own level, being taught from the Bible how to be a follower of Jesus. (See our Kid's Church link in the Top Menu.)

Whether we're studying a single chapter (like the 23rd Psalm) or a series that covers an entire book (like Romans) We work hard each Sunday to present a message that has substance and value for those who attend.  Which means that along with being thoroughly Bible-based, it has to be interesting, relevant, and inspiring.

Because of the power that resides in the Word of God, we trust that people who come to GACC for a Sunday service will leave with something relevant to apply to their lives in the week ahead.

Now regarding less weighty matters...

You can probably tell from the background picture that we love coffee around here. So plan on enjoying a cup with us every Sunday morning.

The second Sunday of each month is called He-brews Sunday (Pun intended). Along with the coffee you can also count on some snacks with a theme after church.

Periodically we have what we call Agape Sunday. (Otherwise known as a full-blown pot luck). I don't mean to brag, but we have some pretty amazing cooks in this congregation!

Aside from the fact that we all enjoy eating, we make a point of meeting together like this because God works through these times of fellowship to encourage us together in our walk with Him.

So...we look forward to having you join us!

Pastor Doug
