"They devoted themselves to the apostle's teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer."
The early church devoted themselves to values that we stand by and on as well. Just because it was the early church doesnt mean it doesnt apply to the church today.
Prayer
Our direct line to God! Prayer doesnt need to be complicated. You dont need to have all the right words.
We believe prayer changes our hearts more than it does Gods heart. Prayer aligns us with the will of God and heart of God.
Preaching
The apostle's teaching was not their own. Their teaching was what Jesus had taught them. We preach God's word! Whether its on a Sunday morning or it is in a small group, we stand on the Word of God.
Potlucks
While you wont find the word potluck in your Bible, you will find the word fellowship or the term; "breaking of bread". We hold to this dearly as it creates strong relationships when people come together to eat.
