What We Believe


In matters of faith, these are the foundational Truths that draw us together.


It ALL comes from the Word of God, the Bible!

  1. The enduring nature of the Word of God (Psalm 119:89,152, Matthew 5: 18,
    Matthew 24:35,1 Peter 1:23-25,)
  2. The value/impact of the Word of God (Psalm 119:9,105,127,2 Timothy 3: 16,
    Hebrews 4:12)

    Changed lives, as well as lives demonstrating a higher power is the greatest testimony of the value of the Word of God.

  3. The amazing uniqueness of the Word of God (Exodus 31: 18, 2 Peter 1: 20-21)
    In essence, God wrote the Bible, thus if God were to sit down and speak to us
    face to face, these are the words He would express.

  4. The Undeniable Authority of God's Word (Joshua 1:8, Deuteronomy 6: 1-12)

    True success in this life depends on our hearing and heeding the Word of God.

 

It is ALL about God!

  1. God the Father (1 Corinthians 8:6)
  2. God the Son (John 10:25-30, Hebrews 1:3, Colossians 2:9)
  3. God the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6: 19, Romans 8:26,
    2 Corinthians 5:5)
  4. The Creator of the Universe (Genesis 1: 1, John 1:3,10)

 


It is ALL centered on Jesus Christ!

  1. The Deity of Jesus Christ (Colossians 1: 15,19, 2:9)
  2. The Incarnation of Christ (God became a man) (John 1: 1-14)
  3. The Gospel of Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:3-8) (death, burial, and resurrection)
  4. The Lordship of Jesus Christ (Philippians 2:9-11)
  5. Communion with Him (1 Corinthians 11: 17-33)

 


It is ALL because of the love of God and the sin of man!

  1. We are created in God's Image (Genesis 1:26-27)
  2. We are sinners (Romans 1: 18, 3:23, Ephesians 2: 1-3)
  3. But God loves us anyway! (John 3: 16, Ephesians 2:4-10)

 


It is ALL based on faith!

  1. To please God, faith is necessary. (Hebrews 11:6)
  2. Faith does not require "sight!" (2 Corinthians 5: 7,
    Hebrews 11: 1)

 


It will ALL end gloriously!

  1. Jesus IS coming back! (1 Thessalonians 4: 13-18,
    1 Corinthians 15:51-52)
  2. Christians will live with God forever in heaven
    (Revelation 21: 1- 7)
